Project Description

As a Cloud Architect and DevOps Engineer, this project focused on deploying SAS Viya 4 on an OpenShift Kubernetes cluster. The implementation ensured that the analytics platform achieved high performance, scalability, and seamless integration with the hospital's existing data sources, optimally supporting medical research and clinical processes.

Team Size

The project was executed by an agile, 3-person expert team consisting of:

  • 1 Cloud Architect: Responsible for the infrastructure design, Kubernetes architecture, and scalability concepts.
  • 1 DevOps Engineer: In charge of automation, the OpenShift deployment, and the integration of security certificates.
  • 1 SAS Platform Specialist: Focused on the optimal configuration of SAS Viya 4 and its connection to data sources.

Project Task

The primary tasks included:
